South Africa accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. The International Court of Justice, in The Hague, did not find in support of the accusation but did call for Israel to “prevent and punish” the incitement to genocide. Gadi Taub explains to Michael Doran that clever Israeli actors are using the court case to advance domestic political agendas that have no connection to the accusation of genocide.
