• David Weprin, the New York State assemblyman running for former Rep. Anthony Weiner’s seat in Congress, refused to endorse President Obama’s reelection. He said not to read anything into it, but that’s unlikely. [Politico]

• Levi Aron, the 35-year-old accused of killing eight-year-old Leiby Kletzky, pleaded not guilty to charges of first degree murder and kidnapping. He was deemed fit to stand trial after a psychological exam. [JPost]
