It’s not only in Europe. A new study by the Anti-Defamation League has found that anti-Semitic incidents in the United States increased 21 percent in 2014.

The ADL’s Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents recorded 912 anti-Semitic events this year, up from 751 last year. Incidents reached their height during the Gaza War this past summer, and many of them were couched in anti-Israel rhetoric.

From threatening rants in Maryland, to the Kansas JCC shooting, the incidents were broad in both scope and geographic location, though states with the highest Jewish populations, such as New York and California, lead the list.

So far 2015 has seen several anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S., including the painting of swastikas on a Jewish fraternity house at Vanderbilt University earlier this month.
