Isn’t it time for them to make aliyah?

An ownership group led by Magic Johnson—yes, that Magic Johnson (are there others?)—bought the troubled Los Angeles Dodgers for more than $2 billion, an absurd valuation (on Twitter, someone joked that the Dallas Cowboys are now worth $7 billion). Of the four major partners, two, film producer Peter Guber and sports executive Stan Kasten, are Jews. None have ties to the diasporic Dodgers’ Holy Land. But now, with the slate clean, isn’t it time to bring the team home?
