Number of candidates: 33.

Number of candidates actually contesting: Five.

Their names: Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum.

Our sentimental favorite: Fred Karger.

Percentage of state population that is Jewish: .8 percent.

Where that ranks: 25th out of 50.

Jewish issues? Iran was the major foreign policy theme at Saturday night’s debate.

Who’s going to win? Mitt Romney.

Does it matter? Not much.

But it’s still been a fun ride, right? Not really.

What does matter: Second place. If Huntsman can’t beat out Paul for runner-up status, Huntsman is likely to drop out, since he has staked much of his campaign thus far on the state.

Number of delegates to the Republican National Convention: 12.

Winner-take-all or proportional? Proportional.

What’s next? South Carolina, January 21.
