Each Monday, we choose the most interestingly Jewish announcement from that Sunday’s New York Times Weddings/Celebrations section. This week, it’s that of Sarah Perlman and Christopher Bremner, she a Hollywood studio developer, he a Hollywood screenwriter who helped write The Break-Up, a movie presumably not based on his experience with the bride. The bride’s grandfather is a cantor and he helped officiate yesterday in Miami. Meanwhile, was the presiding rabbi, Steven Weil, the Steven Weil—the Orthodox Union bigwig? Either way, mazel tov to the happy couple!
