Over at Goldblog, Tablet contributor and soon-to-be-blogger Jeffrey Goldberg posted the transcript of an extensive interview with Kadima party leader Tzipi Livni.

Summing it up, Goldberg writes, “And most notably, she endorsed the idea that pressure from President Obama on Prime Minister Netanyahu is a service to Israel, saying that it is pressure from the American Administration that caused Netanyahu to endorse a two-state solution to the Middle East crisis.’When Obama pushed Bibi, Bibi made some steps forward,’ she said.”

COMMENTING CHARGES
Daily rate: $2
Monthly rate: $18
Yearly rate: $180

WAIT, WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY TO COMMENT?
Tablet is committed to bringing you the best, smartest, most enlightening and entertaining reporting and writing on Jewish life, all free of charge. We take pride in our community of readers, and are thrilled that you choose to engage with us in a way that is both thoughtful and thought-provoking. But the Internet, for all of its wonders, poses challenges to civilized and constructive discussion, allowing vocal—and, often, anonymous—minorities to drag it down with invective (and worse). Starting today, then, we are asking people who'd like to post comments on the site to pay a nominal fee—less a paywall than a gesture of your own commitment to the cause of great conversation. All proceeds go to helping us bring you the ambitious journalism that brought you here in the first place.

I NEED TO BE HEARD! BUT I DONT WANT TO PAY.
Readers can still interact with us free of charge via Facebook, Twitter, and our other social media channels, or write to us at letters@tabletmag.com. Each week, we’ll select the best letters and publish them in a new letters to the editor feature on the Scroll.

We hope this new largely symbolic measure will help us create a more pleasant and cultivated environment for all of our readers, and, as always, we thank you deeply for your support.

manny says:

THERE IS NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. TZIPI LIVNI IS NOW AND HAS BEEN THE WHORE OF THE MIDDLE EAST, WITHOUT AN EQUAL. ALONE WITH THE PIECE OF DUNG, EHUD OLMERT, SHE IS THE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENED IN GAZA 6 YEARS AGO.
While it is true that all politicians want to be reelected and become powerful in their job, they all have limits to what they will do to fulfill their ambitions.
LIVNI has no limits. She would do anything to fulfill her ambitions. She would put her mother up for auction if she could get a good price. She is a liar extraordinaire who would put Israel at risk no matter what the cost. If only she could become prime minister, she thinks. But her problem is that she knows that could never happen and refuses to accept that as a fact.
SHE IS A STUPID WOMAN WHOM I VIEW WITH UTTER CONTEMPT. SHE IS NOT THE ONLY STUPID PERSON AROUND BUT SHE LEADS BY AT LEAST 10 LENGTHS.

John says:

Manny is just angry because he wanted to go out with Tzipi and she rejected him thus the reason for his incoherent nonsensical diatribe.
