This week’s winner gave what I thought was the funniest and most original (i.e., I didn’t also see it on Twitter) punch-line when I noted that Natalie Portman reportedly named her son “Aleph.” It is “Max,” who wrote: “Special image-only entry: http://ecdn3.hark.com/images/000/002/526/2526/original.jpg.”

“Max” gets a copy of Resurrecting Hebrew, by Ilan Stavans, because perhaps nobody since Stavans (or since Ben-Yehuda!) has done more to resurrect Hebrew than Ms. Portman. Unless she ends up destroying it.
