Meet Betty Sussman, 79, of Palm Beach, Florida. She works four days a week as an office manager at an ophthalmologist’s. Her real passion, though, is the work she does every Sunday morning as a volunteer “airport ambassador” at Palm Beach International. Dressed in a teal blazer and comfortable shoes, she welcomes visitors and directs them to restrooms, elevators, luggage carousels, and the like. There are, however, some frustrations that come with the job:
