March 28, 2011
Each Monday, we choose the most interestingly Jewish announcement from that Sunday’s New York Times Weddings/Celebrations section. This weekend brought the nuptials of Ramona Fastow and Chad Jones, which a rabbi officiated yesterday. They met via what you might call the military equivalent of OkCupid: Which is to say, they are both in the army and were both stationed at the same forward operating base near Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Talk about deserving all the happiness that’s coming to them. Mazel tov!
