• The United States and Israel will have a tough time reaching an agreement on settlements, the Times says today. [NYT]
• But defense minister Ehud Barak is in Washington trying to get the Obama administration to back down on a complete settlement freeze. [WP]
• And Obama gave an interview to NPR saying his administration won’t blindly support Israel. “Part of being a good friend is being honest,” he said. As long as he doesn’t tell Netanyahu he looks fat in those pants. [NPR]
• For the fourth year in a row, the British academic union voted to boycott Israeli academics and universities. [JTA]
