Shalom Auslander talks genocide in his first column

Today in Tablet Magazine, Shalom Auslander, author of The Foreskin’s Lament, inaugurates his “Diary of a Novelist” column by explaining how to find the funny in mass ethnic murder: “‘There’s nothing funny about genocide,’ you say. That’s what I thought.” For its part, The Scroll will try to find additional, perhaps more traditional things to laugh about.
