Tablet, the universe’s leading web magazine for Jewish news, politics, arts, culture, life, and religion, is looking to expand its staff by making two hires. The first position is for somebody to edit and write for the Scroll, our award-winning blog. The second position is for a writer to contribute to the Scroll but also to write feature stories across all areas that Tablet covers. Both positions are based out of our office in New York City.

These two new hires would be joining a magazine that has seen record traffic this year and which features the writing of leading reporters, essayists, fiction writers, and intellectuals, recently including Anne Roiphe, David Bezmozgis, Todd Gitlin, Paul Berman, Abigail Pogrebin, Adam Kirsch, Etgar Keret, Heather Rogers, David Samuels, Mark Oppenheimer, and Tablet editor Alana Newhouse.

To apply, please send your one-page resume and a one-page cover letter, which includes links to your five best clips, to Mark Oppenheimer, editor at large, at [email protected]
