Steven Spielberg is an Embarrassing Proud Dad

Used his phone to film his kids’ band playing a concert in NYC

That guy next to you filming the concert on his phone at Brooklyn Bowl this weekend? None other than Steven Spielberg. The director checked out his kids’ set during the CMJ Music Marathon, Page Six reports, and he was totally embarrassing dad about it.

The director was spotted in the DJ booth at Brooklyn Bowl on Friday, watching his kids Theo and Sasha perform as the band Wardell.



A spy said, “He filmed a good chunk of their set . . . with his phone!”

The children Spielberg behind Wardell (Theo’s middle name) released their first album, Brother/Sister, (aw!) earlier this year. They’re pretty good, too. Here’s Wardell with “Call it What You Want:”
