The New York City mayoral race just got personal. Really, really personal.

Republican candidate Joe Lhota apparently wants Anthony Weiner’s ex-girlfriends to come forward with horror stories about the disgraced former congressman, the the New York Post reports:

In a radio interview, Lhota said he hopes airing Weiner’s romantic past will show female voters what a creep he is.

“I hope [women] will come to the right conclusion after enough women come out and talk about what it was like to be with him and date him and things like that,” Lhota said on “The Andrea Tantaros Show” on the Talk Radio Network.

An interesting approach, though I’m not sure there’s much more the public could possibly hear (or want to hear, for that matter) about Weiner’s romantic exploits.

Your move, Weiner. Or his exes.
