The New York Jets Keep Shedding Jews
Something of a forced exodus is happening in Florham Park

The Jewish minyan that once made up the front office of the New York Jets is starting to look more and more like an empty shul.
The first sign of danger: The firing of Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum, who (to quote Scroll Editor Emeritus), “despite coming from outside Boston, looking the part, and being named Mike Tannenbaum” isn’t actually Jewish. Then today, came the real news:
Two more high-ranking Jets officials will not be retained as John Idzik continues his purge of the previous regime. The latest departures are Scott Cohen, the assistant general manager, and Ari Nissim, the director of football administration.
These are dark days for the New York Jets, who used to be owned by a Jew and also recently released quarterback Tim Tebow, who was famous for his love of a Jew.
