• President Barack Obama announced his support for a bipartisan proposal on immigration reform. The plan would vastly overhaul many aspects of naturalization process. [WSJ]

• Gerald Scarfe, who drew the inflammatory cartoon of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, apologized for the timing of his cartoon, which ran on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. He remains unapologetic about the content. [JTA]

• According to reports, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered Stanley Fischer, the outgoing head of Israel’s Central Bank, a job as the finance minister in his cabinet. Fischer, who is said to have declined the offer, also believes Israel will face some tough economic times ahead. [Times of Israel]

• Over a quarter of Americans believe that God plays a role in determining the outcome of sport events. Whether this is good news or bad news for the Baltimore Ravens will be determined on Sunday. Or not. [JTA]

• John Munch, detective in the widely popular show “Law and Order: SVU” gets the Network Jews treatment this week on Jewcy. [Jewcy]
